Brian T. Hughs, CCIM
Brian joined The Simpson Company in 2008, and since then has focused on the sale and leasing of commercial real estate in the Metro Atlanta and North Georgia regions from raw land and industrial properties, to office, retail, multifamily and investment properties.
Brian is a member the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors, the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtor’s Million Dollar Club for seven out of the last eleven years, Georgia CCIM Chapter, and is a designee of the CCIM Institute.
Brian currently serves on the board of directors for the Georgia Mountains YMCA in Gainesville. He previously served on the Georgia Mountain Food Bank for the last three years as well as the United Way Capital Campaign Committee. Other past board positions include serving on the executive board of directors for the Gainesville Jaycees as the Vice President of Membership for 2013, and has held other positions within the club in previous years. He served as the Vice President of Operations in 2012, Vice President of Projects and Community Development in 2011 overseeing the entire club’s projects, as well as a general board member in 2010. Brian serves on the Peach State Bank & Trust Youth Community Development Board, is an active member in the local Ducks Unlimited Chapter, and is a graduate of the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Hall program.
A lifelong resident of North Georgia, Brian graduated with honors from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. Brian and his wife, Callie, and two sons reside in Gainesville, Georgia and attend Gainesville First United Methodist Church.
