J. Lee Hemmer, CCIM SIOR
Lee Hemmer has been active in commercial real estate in Georgia since 1997. As an associate with The Simpson Company he received his Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation.He focuses on industrial, office, and investment properties in Northeast Georgia. His practice also includes retail, commercial land, and apartments.
He is a multi million dollar producer, is a member of the Georgia CCIM Chapter and the International CCIM Institute, and is a member of the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors where he is annually recognized as one of the highest producing brokers in the region. Lee also owns and manages residential and commercial properties in Hall County and Florida.
Lee is the president of the Gainesville Rotary Club and is a board member of the Georgia Mountains YMCA and of the Northeast Georgia Speech Center. Lee has been active in the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce, having been a past executive board member and Silver Shovel Recipient. He currently sits on the Vision 2030 board of directors as the Lake Lanier Harbortown concept co-chair. Lee is a Leadership Georgia alumn and is a member and supporter of the Hall County Soil and Water Conservation District. For many years, Lee has been active in Boy Scouts of America and served as both Assistant Scoutmaster and Scoutmaster of Troop 242. Lee has been active with many other board of directors and organizations including Northeast Georgia Medical Center Foundation, Georgia Mountain Food Bank, Gainesville State College (now University of North Georgia), Brenau University, Friends of Don Carter State Park, Heads Mill Preservation, Lake Lanier Technology Alliance, Georgia CCIM Board of Directors, and the Gainesville / Hall County Trust for Historic Preservation.
Lee is a 1995 alumnus of Virginia’s Hampden-Sydney College is a native of Gainesville / Hall County, Georgia with family roots in Hall County going back to 1802. He, his wife Beth, and his children live on their family farm in East Hall County.
